Mid century Empoli Footed Vase Blue Bowl w/ Clear Stem - Vintage 1960s Home Decor Retro Tall Hand Blown Glass
A mid century tall Empoli style glass footed vase. This retro vase features a light blue top bowl section with a subtle pattern in it, and a clear glass stem.
The top section is blue glass with what appears to be rows of elongated oval shapes (possibly blurry diamond shapes) all over it. It has a slightly scalloped top rim edge.
This type of footed glass vase was popular as a home decor item in the midcentury. Most of these vases were made in Italy in the Empoli region, however this tall vase is unmarked.
Measures 15 high. The widest part has an 8" diameter. The base that is clear glass has a 6" diameter.
This mid century era home decor peice is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear commensurate with vintage age - circa 1960s.
