Pair of vintage silver metal Jennings Brothers candlesticks of short height with a hexagon base. The two candlesticks have a distinctive shape with a paneled top candle holder section. The pair are are heavy for their size. I believe this are circa 1930s in age - see NOTE below about the JB hallmark on the bottom for the Jennings Brothers Company.
In nice vintage condition with some patina and signs of wear consistent with their vintage condition.
The retro pair measure 3 1/4" tall. The bases have a 4" diameter across at the widest point.
Marked JB and 1731 on the bottoms.

JB is for JENNINGS BROTHERS MANUFACTURING CO, of BRIDGEPORT, Connecticut. The Jennings Brothers Manufacturing Company was one of the leading and most enterprising manufacturing concerns in Connecticut. It began business in the year 1890 and went out of business circa 1937.
