Vintage Cup & Saucer w/ Fruit Pair Vintage Porcelain Wall Pocket Vases Plaques - 2 Round 3D Kitsch Mid century Art Hangings Kitchen Decor
Cute and kitschy set of two 3D round wall pocket vases from the mid century. The matching pair of cup shaped wall plaques are ceramic and are stamped on the back. Both matching pieces feature a coffee cup with a design on the front of fruit - very colorful! There is a cluster of what looks like peaches, berries, grapes and a flower on one side along with some green leaves. They are identical to each other - see photos for detail.
These vintage porcelain wall decor pieces are done with an off white background color and the cups and saucers are trimmed in a bright red. They fruit on the front of each cup uses the colors of pink, blue, green, purple, yellow and orange with some black outline accents here and there. There is a thin red line or border around the outer rim of the saucers, on the handles of the cups and around the bottom of each cup. There are holes in the top of each plaque for hanging on the wall.
They are hallmarked on the back with an impressed NS Co CLCV O USA and the letters and numbers S P 3.
Perfect vintage wall decor for a retro kitchen or dining room.
Each retro plaque measures approx. 7 3/4" in diameter. They have a depth of about 2 3/4". (The cup sections that make these wall pockets are about 5 1/2" wide x 2 3/4" high.)
In nice vintage condition with wear commensurate with vintage age. There is some crazing all over and a spot on one rim and under the left side of one cup that are discolored where a crack in the surface can be seen. Item's price reflects these conditions.
The mid century cups and saucer wall pockets still look adorable on the wall and could be positioned in a variety of ways.
