Vintage Drink 4 Wood Coaster Set in Chest in wooden box - Cork Lined Wood Coasters
This vintage set off coasters in the Asian style wood and brass box is circa 1970s. The wooden container has ornamental brass pieces on the corners and handles on the two sides. There are four wooden cork lined coasters inside. The four corners of this wood box have brass corner designs in the shape of a triangle. They are etched with some decorative detail. The sides and the front have the four corner decorations. The back is plain - the remains of a sticker is still there.
Measurements:
container - 5" high and 4 1/2" across each side.
coasters - 3 1/2" square and about 1/2" thick.
The cork section that the glass sit in have a 3” diameter.
This retro. coaster set is in nice vintage condition with chips or cracks. Little wear on this set of coasters in a little wood chest - very cute box that is practical but a nice piece as a home decor item. Three of the coasters have little wear - one has some discoloration on the cork that is a dark color and a bit of the cork lining is missing. See photos for detail.
