Vintage 4 Green Stem Bockling Large Wine Glasses - Set Four Gold Rim Thick Stem Rhine Riesling Clear Bowl - Souvenir Cities of Germany
Wonderful set of 4 vintage Bockling Germany wine glasses with thick beehive emerald green stems and gold rims. In addition to the gold on the rims, there are lines of gold around the top section of the stems as well as around the bases.
Set of retro wine 4 glasses from 4 different cities in Germany. The bases are solid green glass German style (Rhine) wine glasses.
Enjoy some Riesling or other wine in these vintage souvenir glasses!
Glasses have gold rims along the top. There is a gold design of a leaf around two of the wine glasses, a band of small flowers around one glass and a different style of leaf pattern on the fourth. Each pattern goes all of the way around the glass with a colored image of the city on the front.
The cities shown in the designs on the clear glass bowls are as follows:
- Rothesburg.oT MARKUSTURM
- Garmisch Parkenkirchen.
- Schlob Neuschwanstein
- Koenigsschloss Linderhof
These glasses feel great in the hand - each is a hefty wine glass. Gorgeous emerald green color and very colorful depictions of the listed cities in Germany on the front center of each clear glass bowl - very beautiful.
Two of the souvenirs glasses have an original gold foil sticker on them. One says “Bockling E&A Neudenneau" and the other says something similar but is faded / worn.
Glasses measure 5 1/2" tall. The bases have a 3 1/4" diameter. The top openings have a 2 3/4" diameter.
8 oz. fills almost to the brim.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear to the gold band of leaves on three but one (the glass) has more wear to the gold - see photo closeups.
Two have the original gold foil stickers on the bases and look as if they may have never been used.
Great addition to a vintage bar or stylish piece of barware decor. Raise a vintage glass in style!
