A very large and rather heavy beautiful chalkware or plaster plaque that is 3 dimensional of the Blessed Mother and her Immaculate Heart that is exposed. She is a tan color with a beautiful face. Nice detail on her blue eyes, pink mouth, brown hair and brows. Her heart that is exposed has some pink, yellow and green embellishments on it. There is gold trim on her dress neckline, sleeve edges and belt.
There is a hanging loop on the back on the top. The colors and facial expressions are sublime and the detail is fabulous, especially the eyes which are blue. There is a pink cast to the cheek area skin tone - looks very lifelike.
This mid century Mary, Mother of Jesus, plaque is in nice vintage condition considering its age - no cracks or chips in the plaster/chalkware. Some light chipping of paint all over. Great for the shabby chic look.
Measures 12" long, 10" wide and has a depth of approx. 2 1/3".
Weighs 2 3/4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This Blessed Mother plaque is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks in the chalkware. There is very light very chipping commensurate with mid century age.
