This is a set of 4 decorative vintage clear glass with red flash wine or juice glasses.
What is flash? Flashed glass is a type of glass created by coating a colorless glass with one or more thin layers of colored glass.
The sides of the bowl have a bulged out area on the bottom half with 8 thumbprints or impressions around it. There is a line of zig zag designs above and below them. The stems have a smaller matching decorative wafer with the same mini impressions on it that is in the middle of the stem. There is also a row on the base that has a raised zig zag edge. These are hefty for their size and feel nice in the hand. Look like they could be either US Glass, Colony, or Tiffin-Franciscan Glass Co. (All three made a Kings Crown pattern.)
The US Glass Company made their version circa 1914. The Tiffin-Franciscan Company made their Kings Crown pattern from 1958 to 1962. The Colony Company made their pattern from 1953 - 1967.
They are in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks - just an adorable set in great vintage condition. There is a slight height difference between the glasses - see photos for detail.
Measure 4 3/8" tall . A hefty juice glass with a sturdy feel.
Hold 4 ounces.
NOTE: The last photos show the size of these wine glasses compared to the larger sized water goblets/glasses that are also listed in our Etsy shop.
A pretty clear with red flash and a unique set of four glasses!
