Vintage Clear Glass Pedestal Round Covered Candy Dish Ornate w/ 2 Handles - Wedding Decor - Unusual Mid Century Lidded Candy Display Jar

$30.00

A clear glass round shaped candy dish with an ornate pressed glass design on the base and lid. It has a very unusual shape that includes 2 handles on the sides and a square base. It has a slight Art Deco feel to it.

It has a pedestal stem has a ball in the center before you get to the rounded square base itself. The lid has an elongated knob on the top. The handles also have a couple of bead shapes in the glass where they are attached to the main section of this lidded dish or jar.

The body and the lid have a swirl pattern pressed into the glass - quite lovely.

There are no chips or cracks in this retro home decor or display piece. In nice vintage condition.

Including the lid, it is about 7 1/4” high. The body of the jar or dish alone is about 4 1/3” high. It has an approx 6” diameter. The square sides of the base are 3” long.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
