Three antique ceramic pieces from a bath set made circa late 1800s by the KT & K Company. This stands for the Knowles, Taylor & Knowles company of East Liverpool, Ohio. See NOTE below for more about this company.
This 3 piece set is a white or ivory color with with gold floral designs and accent lines in various places. The top edges or rims of all pieces are scalloped and there was gold accent trim on these as well.
The three pieces are a jar or jug and two matching small pitchers (without spouts) with a handle on one side. There are gold flower designs in a “V” shape on all pieces. The handles on the two smaller pitchers are very decorative and have a bit of gold trim. There is a fine gold band at the top under the scalloped rim and a slightly wider band at the base of all of the pieces.
The pieces are all shabby chic with crazing, some light discoloration and wear to the gold trim - they are approx. 120 years old. Items’ price reflects conditions.
Larger jug is approximately 4 1/4” high and has a 4" diameter at the widest part. Smaller pitchers /handled jars are 3 1/2" high and have a 4" diameter. With the handles, they are about 5" across from tip of handle to the opposite side.
Great antique shabby chic decor bathroom or bedroom set.
The green hallmark or backstamp on these 3 pieces dates them to the late 1800s to early 1900s. It says “KT&K Semi Vitreous Porcelain 321” and has an eagle with its wings spread open inside a circle.
