Vintage Brass & Enamel Trinket / Stamp Box - Ornate Colorful w/ People And Flowers - Cloisonne Chinese Import - Bedroom Bathroom Home Decor
A great brass and enamel trinket or jewelry box with a hinged lid. When the lid is opened, there are three compartments inside. Two are smaller and there is one larger sized compartment. The compartments have a rounded edge on the one side making it easy to pull things out from inside. The back of this retro brass box has two hinges. There is no lock on the lid - it opens and closes very freely. This items is circa 1920-1940.
This adorable home or festoon decor item is very colorful with blue, green, yellow, pink, and red enamel on the top and sides. There are people figures on the tops and sides that look to be holding balloons or balls and playing with a stick.
This wonderful brass trinket box is marked Made In China on the bottom. (The bottom and back sides are solid brass with no enamel.)
Measures about 4 1/4” long by 1 1/4” wide and is about 1 1/2” high.
In nice vintage condition with some wear to the enamel and patina on the brass commensurate with vintage age. The lid does not close all the way - it is loose fitting.
Great retro piece for your grooming table, bedroom, bathroom or dresser.
