Vintage Hand Painted 6 Piece Decanter Set - Pansy Flowers Butterflies Retro Liquor / Wine 5 Matching Glasses - Mid Century
Absolutely gorgeous hand painted wine glass and decanter set. Six (seven if including the stopper separately) piece set includes decanter, stopper, and matching 5 wine or liquor glasses. This decanter is a large and hefty one weighing in at 2 1/2 lbs. and the stopper is about 1 lb. alone - the stopper is larger and heavier than one would expect! While the decanter is ample and the stopper a bulbous heavy piece of glass, the wine glasses themselves are rather delicate. They are blown glass and as such differ slightly in size when all lined up.
The glass in this set is clear with bold gold accent trim in places. The glasses and decanter are hand painted with off white, dark blue and yellow pansy flowers and gold butterflies. The dark blue is the inner portion of the pansy flowers. The large and quite heavy stopper has gold accent trim in rings around it as does the top of the decanter rim.
Decanter has the matching gold and yellow and blue pansy floral with a gold butterfly design. Stunning and eye catching!
Size:
Decanter - Approx. 12" high with a 5" diameter at the widest place. The base has a 4 1/2" diameter.
Stopper - 4" long with a 2 1/2" diameter at the widest place
Glasses - 7" high with a top opening of 2 1/2". The bases have a 2 1/2" diameter.
The glasses hold approx. 6 ounces.
This beautiful retro barware set is in nice vintage condition. Limited wear to the gold except for the stopper that has some missing gold on the rings around it. One glass has a bit of dark blue paint on the base from the production process. Glass is in great shape with no chips or scratches.

I have the exact same decanter ordered it to have an even # of glasses. I've owned mine for over 40 years. I have always loved this design. So grateful I was able to find another set.
