A wonderful mid century faux lavabo that is in three pieces. The top portion is a small lid for the canister. The canister, or section that would hold water, has a faux spout / faucet and the bottom portion is the basin. On the three pieces there is a design of a fruit that appears to be a pear, plums and a peach on a vine with leaves on it. This leafy design trails across the basin, the canister and on the lid. The canister has a removable lid. While there are three pieces and it looks like a real lavabo, it is not - it is a faux home decor piece.
The back of the basin and the canister have an embossed marking that says MADE ITALY.
This type of lavabo was a popular wall decor item in the 1960s abd 1970s. This particular set is ceramic with an off-white background and a brown design. This design features fruit and a leafy vine that grows all over the three pieces of this lavabo set. There are holes in the back of the canister and basin for hanging. (The lid sits on the canister and does not need to be attached to the wall.)

Top Canister - 9” long x 7 " wide and spout is about 3” deep
