Two retro art glass dishes or bowls by Murano of Italy.
The two abstract dishes have a petal shape. The 2 pieces are not the same size but are of a matching shape - that of a leaf. One is slightly larger than the other.
The longer side on each matching piece reache upward with a very slight curve.
The shape of this glass basket combo is unique and graceful.
There are some air bubbles and bumps and depressions here and there which is typical of hand blown glass - see photos.
Measurements:
Larger dish - 13 1/2” x 10”
Smaller dish - 9” x 8 1/2”
Weigh about 5 1/2 lbs. combined before packaging for shipment.
The original black sticker on the sides of the smaller glass piece says WHITE CRISTAL and HAND MADE IN ITALY and then it says in Italian on a clear label on each bowl .
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The smaller dish has very little scratching. The larger dish has some light scratching on the center area commensurate with vintage age and use.
