This vintage Syroco burnished gold colored wall hanging that is in an octagonal shape that was made in 1962 as marked on the back in Roman Numerals.
The retro piece features a three piece floral arrangement in an urn in the very center. There are some decorative swirls on either side of the urn that holds the three flowers. The flowers are five-petaled and look like dogwood blooms.
The loop in the top on the back is there for hanging in the wall.
This mid century wall hanging measures 9 1/2" x 9 1/2" wide. It is about 2" deep.
Looking on the back of each, there is the Syroco copyright from the Syracuse Ornamental Wood Co. and the date in Roman Numerals for 1962. It is marked for the style or model No. A-7258.
Very shabby chic mid century or retro decor.
Looks brass look but the material is plastic or Syroco - the finish is so much like metal it fools you and is very lightweight.
This octagonal wall art item is good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Very light wear to the gold paint here and there commensurate with vintage age.
