Vintage TALL Brass & Copper Candlestick - Hallmarked Mission Style Mexico Retro Candle Holder Home Decor - Tall Candle Holder w/ Swirl
A beautiful very tall brass and copper candlestick holder with a swirl barbershop type of pattern on its main section. The top rim is scalloped and the neck has a ball shape under a tapered cone. The sections of this mid century candle holder alternate in copper and brass. There is a bit of a ric rack pattern on two of the rings - one at the neck and one at the bottom of the mid section. The base is a round shape with alternating copper and brass rings. The base section is tapered at the top and then gets wider at the very bottom.
This vintage candle stick holder measures 17 1/2" high. The round base has a 4 1/2" diameter. The round top has a 3" diameter. Holds a regular sized taper.
This tall mixed metal Mission Style candlestick holder is a bit hefty weighing close to 2 lb. before packaging for shipment.
The bottom is signed in two places. One says MEXICO in letters that go around in a circle. The other is a maker's mark that I am not able to discern but looks something like Llamas Asperos and some other letters/words.
In nice vintage condition with some patina and wear commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail.
