A beautiful vintage cobalt blue and white blue glass vase that is circa mid century in age. This art glass vase with the top ruffled edge is a solid blue on the interior and has a white and blue exterior. There are six frills on the top edge. The base is perfectly round.
The design of the outside of this frilled top vase is abstract with a solid blue base with blue spots or marks on the sides in between a "U" shaped blue design. This pattern repeats with 5 dots in total around the vase. There is a pontil on the bottom of this beautiful home decor item.
(I believe this piece is mid century in age and Murano glass made in Italy but it is not marked. )
Measures 9 1/4" high. The top opening is 8 1/2" wide at the widest point. The base has a 4 1/4" diameter.
This vase is rather heavy weighing in at close to 3 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
This retro pedestal table decor vase is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. There are some air bubbles in the glass, typical of these items. There are very light use marks commensurate with vintage age.
Beautiful and bright art glass home decor piece.
