This is such a pretty bedroom accessory for displaying your treasures, perfume bottles, jewelry, or makeup. The gold/brass and copper toned metal edged frame has a nice patina that blends beautifully with both shabby chic and Hollywood Regency decors. This particular mirrored vanity tray, while rectangular, has rounded corners.
The make up mirror tray with a gold or brass tone metal measures approx. 12" by 9" wide and is about 1" high. The edges are gold colored metal that goes all around the rounded rectangle shape. The handles are copper and have a nice curve that makes them easy to grab onto. The glass itself has a criss crossed design in gold on it - it reminds one of argyle - so unique.
The tray has a dark black plastic type of backing.
There is wear consistent with age. There are no chips on the mirror but there are spots of dark where the material underneath the glass has worn away. The mirror itself is a bit cloudy. See photos for more detail. Price reflects these conditions.
The tray is 12” x 9”. The handles are 1” each and add to the 14” length of the tray when included.
There are light scratches and dark spots of wear on the corner areas - see photo closeups. There are use marks here or there as would be expected a mirror that is circa 1920s - 1940s.
The brass frame and copper handles have a little patina. Overall, in nice vintage condition.
A sweet bit of retro style with a touch of argyle!
