Silver plate Bowl Vintage Paul Revere Silverplate Green Enamel - Mid century Wallace Color Clad Bowl w/ Green Interior - Home Decor Ca 1960s
An eye-catching wire basket or bowl by Wallace Color Clad. This unique retro emerald green enamel bowl is circa 1960-1970s. This bowl has the original sticker still in place on the bottom that says "WALLACE COLOR CLAD". The hallmark and the the text WALLACE B911 are etched in the very center. On the outer edge is etched "PM ITALY". (I believe the PM indicates this is silver plate.)
This basket or bowl has open sides that are thin round bands that come from a solid enamel center that is emerald green, and they then attach to the top rim. There is a short pedestal base that is silverplate - it is about 1/2" in height.
As I don't think this wire basket or openwork bowl was used very much as it is in good vintage condition and has the original tag on the bottom. Some light wear to the silver plate and the green enamel. Overall, the enamel is in nice condition. The Silver plate is slightly tarnished (as shown in pictures above). I did not polish this wire basket or bowl with the green enamel center as some folks like patina.
Measures 10" across the top and is approx. 3 /12"high. The base of the bowl has a 5 1/2" diameter.
