A vintage jewelry box that is a large size made by Buxton USA. This jewelry box is covered in a tan or light gold mottled pattern and is lined with a dark purple or eggplant velvet inside with a matching satin top lining. There are silver toned metal pulls and hinges.
The top lid opens up to show two types of compartments or two tiers. The very top has 12 smaller lined spaces for earrings and rings and below is a tier with 4 lined sections that would be great for bracelets.
Three larger sized lined compartments are in the drawer underneath that very top level.
The third lined tier is the bottom drawer. It has four long horizon compartments for necklaces, chains or bracelets.
The bottom or the underneath has a matte lining of a material that has a canvas look and feel.
This large vintage Buxton jewelry box is in nice vintage condition with the top, sides, back and bottom as well as of the exterior of the drawers in nice shape with slight signs of wear commensurate with vintage age. No rips or tears.
The interior is in great vintage condition with slight wear. And for a vintage item, it looks as if it saw little use.
