Amazing serving tray...serve in style!
Here is a vintage serving tray made of wood (that I believe is oak) that has five sections to it. This piece has wonderful visible grain, especially on the rounded sides. The edges are rounded giving this a very natural type of shape that reminds one of peas in a pod.
The 5 sections inside the serving dish are a cherry color stain and are of two different shapes. The center section is an oval and the two sections on either side, a total of four, are more of a wide moon shape. They moon shapes face the center oval.
The ridges between sections are scalloped. The two curved handle sections have carved ridges in them. Lots of personality on this retro serving bowl.
Approx. 21" long and 9" wide at widest spot. The 5 section tray is about 2 1/2" high. It is rather heavy weighing in at about 4 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
In nice vintage condition. Some use marks/scratches to the wood here as would be expected a vintage item from the mid century - see photo closeups.
Great serving dish for a party or for a retro rustic / shabby chic themed home!
