Beautiful vintage amber Empoli pedestal jar with a lid that stands 11 " high with the lid on.
A retro amber glass jar with a lid from the mid century. This blown glass pedestal jar has a wide center section, ribbing on the sides of the jar and the lid, and a wafer on the stem. The base is clear glass with no ribbing as is the top ball on the lid. The opening is scalloped. This is not marked but I would guess this is a retro home decor item circa 1970s, and was most likely made in Italy.
Measurements:
Jar - 11" high with lid on. Jar portion alone is 7" high. Tge widest part of the jar has an approx. 7" diameter. The base has a 4 3/4" diameter.
Lid - 7" high. The bottom of the lid has a 4 1/4" diameter.
The mid century amber glass lidded home decor jar is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Light wear commensurate with vintage age - looks wonderful!
