Vintage Amber Glass Pitcher w/ Handle - Grape Design Retro Hand Blown Serving Jack in Pulpit Spout - Kitchen Serving Display Entertaining
A vintage amber glass pitcher with a spout that has a jack-in-the-pulpit shape. The bottom has a grape cluster and leaf raised design. This retro hand blown glass pitcher has a great curved handle that attaches to the bulbous section with a nice curl that looks like a ribbon. There is a ridge vertically down the middle of the handle.
This serving or display piece is made in a gorgeous amber brown color. The neck has some decorative rings at the place where the handle attaches and then again below that. The neck sides have a light paneled section that ends with rounded or scalloped designs. Below this is the wide bulbous section that features raised grape clusters and leaves all around it. There is a distinct pontil at the bottom of this pitcher.
This display or serving piece is in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Some light use marks here or there, consistent with retro age - circa 1980s.
The pitcher measures approx. 9 1/2" tall and 4 1/4'' across at top. The widest bulbous section has an approx. 6" diameter.
