A vintage signed and hand painted Wechsler Tirolkeramik ashtray that features an off-white background with blue, purple, mauve, mustard yellow and green floral hand painted designs. The same floral design appears three times around the sides of this retro cigarette or cigar holder. All along the top edge is a mauve colored stripe between each of the depressions that hold cigars/cigarettes.
There are 5 depressions that would hold cigars or cigarettes - they are wider than most and would easily hold cigars. There are two depressions next to each other on one section and then 2 other depressions for your smokes in 2 other spots across from the double. Each depression has a set of 4 hand painted dots in the center.
The center of the bowl features a dark mauve flower with a dark green stem. There are slight raised rings in the pottery around the central flower.
Measures 7 3/4" across and is 2 3/4" high.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
The bottom is signed with the Wechsler hallmark stamp and the numbes 131 as well as the letters BD.
