This set of 4 matching burnished gold colored wall hangings in an elongated diamond shape that were made by Dart Industries. They have the Copyright on the back and the model number. This set of gold plastic wall art is circa 1970s. The matching set of four wall hangings measure about 13" long by 7 1/2" wide and are about 1/2" deep.
They are matching yet different wall hangings that are very Hollywood Regency. They are identical in size and shape, but the each have a different design on a ivory colored background. The designs are:
A violin with a piece of music behind it with flowers and a ribbon accents
A large key with a crown on the top of it
A smaller keyhole with a crown on the top and some scrolling embellishments all around that
A Victorian basket with a large floral arrangement in it that also has a ribbon on the top
They are then framed in ornate scrolling designs and have a flower at each of the four corners on the gold frame section.
Backs say COPYRIGHT DART MADE IN USA No. 4271
Very mid century or retro decor.
Look like brass or a gold metal, but material is plastic - the finish is so much like metal it fools you and is very lightweight - similar to Syroco.
Considering these are mid century items they are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Finish is still shiny.
