This set of 4 matching burnished gold colored wall hangings in an elongated diamond shape that were made by Homco. They have the Copyright and are dated 1971 on the back. The matching set of four wall hangings measure about 13" long by 7 3/4" wide and are about 1/2" deep.
They are matching yet different wall hangings that are very Hollywood Regency. They are identical in size and shape, but the each have a different design on a textured ivory colored background. The designs are:
An Olympic torch with a laurel wreath above it
A Victorian urn with flowers in it and some below as well
Two cornucopias with fruit flowing out of them with a bow on the bottom
A harp with a laurel sprig on either side and flowers on the bottom
They are then framed in ornate scrolling designs and have a loop on the top and bottom.
Backs say COPYRIGHT MCMLXXI HOMCO 7227 MADE IN USA
Very mid century or retro decor.
Look like brass or a gold metal, but material is plastic - the finish is so much like metal it fools you and is very lightweight - similar to Syroco.
Considering these are mid century items they are in good vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Finish is still shiny.
NOTE: The Homco product lines included artificial flowers, candles, framed artwork, mirrors, sconces, small furniture, and shelves. The company was founded in 1957.
