Vintage Round Brass Bowl W/ Lid & Divided Glass Insert - Mid Century Entertaining Serving Nut Snack Dish

$37.80

Sorry, this item has sold.

A vintage round leaded brass bowl with a divided glass dish insert that is a heavy pressed glass piece. The bowl or dish has a lid with a round ball knob on the very center top. There are three round pedestal feet on the bottom of this dish that stands about 4" high.

I believe this is a mid century piece and would be perfect for candy, nuts or even as a holder for keys or other trinkets.

Measurements:
Bowl - 7" in diameter and about 4" high to top of knob on the lid
Lid - 6 1/4" in diameter
Glass insert - 6 1//4" in diameter

There is a bit remaining of a hallmark on the bottom that is a crown with three diamonds in it - the rest has been worn away.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks in the glass insert. There are markings, wear and patina on the brass pieces commensurate with vintage age - see photos for detail.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
