A vintage white milk glass small planter by Westmoreland. The planter is in a square shape and has a short pedestal base that is square at the bottom. Milk glass was first made by Westmoreland in the 1920s, although it was copied by a number of other glass producers. This pattern, Paneled Grape, is one of their most well-known patterns of milk glass and the number of pieces produced was very large including vases, serving pieces, centerpieces, candy dishes, cake plates, ashtrays, creamers, sugars, salt and pepper sets, baskets, bowls, compotes, candle holders - and many, many more.

The Westmoreland pattern (Paneled Grape) Milk Glass and was in production from 1940 - 1984. This square planter features grapevines, leaves and a grape cluster in the center of each square side. There is a scalloped edge on the bottom just before the pedestal base. The top edge of this retro piece is scalloped as well.

This collectible milk glass piece has the Westmoreland stamp on the underside - see last photo.

Measures 4 1/8 in high and is 4 5/8 in wide.

In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks.
