A gold Syroco wall hanging that still has the original Syroco foil sticker still intact on the back. This Hollywood Regency home decor item was hung by a door or to accent a slender wall section. This particular Syroco piece is the older style of Syroco that was actually made of wood pulp. Later on, the company changed its formulation to mostly plastic items. Syroco stands for the Syracuse Ornamental Wood Co. of Syracuse, New York. The company produced a large number of home decor items in mid century, a great majority of them in this gold color.
The vertical hanging has a makeup of leaves, fruit and thistles with a bow or ribbon on the top. The fruits appear to be pineapple, quince and grapes along with some oak leaves. Typical of home decor item from the mid century and in pristine condition.
There is a loop on the back for hanging.
Measurements:
16" long x 5" wide at the widest point. This retro wall hanging is about 1 1/3" deep at the highest part. This item is hefty weighing 1 3/4 lbs. as it is made of actual wood.
In very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks and very light wear. See photos for detail. Original Syroco sticker is still intact on the back.

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
