A striking clear and teal blue striped pedestal stemmed glass candy jar. It has a great "trophy" shape and the lid comes to a stylish pointed top. The candy jar has blue striped trim on the sides and lid. All of the edges have a solid blue stripe as well. The top of the lid has a larger amount of the teal blue color that extends down the knob about 3/4" in length.
The blue bands around the top and base of the jar and on the lid are approx. 1/4" wide.
Stands about 8 1/2" tall with the lid on an the base is 3 1/4" in diameter. The the top opening is 4" in diameter. This candy jar is what is referred to as the 1/2 lb. size.
Nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks in the glass on the jar or the lid. The blue is also in nice condition with very little wear.
A handsome candy jar to be sure!
