Great hand turned vintage Aspen wood vase is perfect for a natural look as the natural wood grain is beautiful. This vintage vase was made by NATURE TURNS Creations in Aspen Wood and has an abstract design on one side of lines while the other side is plain. The barrel shaped vase tapers at the top and then has a wide lip or rim.
This rustic and sturdy vase it is also nice without anything inside as it is in some of these photos.
The vase features smooth and beautiful light colored Aspen wood that is native to Colorado. Aspen trees cover 20 percent of the state's forested land. Aspen, known as quaking aspen, are Colorado's only widespread, native, deciduous tree and can be found from 6,500 to 11,500 feet in elevation.
In nice vintage condition with some light signs of wear and splitting in the wood in various places. See photos for detail.
The gold foil label that is still intact on the bottom reads "Nature Turns Creations in Aspen Wood".
Measures 8 1/2" tall. Top rim is 3 1/4" across. The opening is 1" in diameter, and the base has a diameter of 4". This Aspen wood vase weighs 2 lbs and 3 oz. before packaging for shipment.
