4 Vintage Aurora Amethyst Wine Liquor Glasses by Cambridge w/ Clear Stems - Set of 4 Retro Purple Barware
Set of 4 purple or amethyst colored wine or liquor glasses. I believe they are Aurora Amethyst by Cambridge. They have a great shape and a nice feel and elegant heft in the hand.
These retro glasses are all a solid purple color glass on the bowls but the stems are clear. There is a small ornate Swirl design on the wafer that is on the stems just below the bowl section. The stem columns have 6 sides giving them a faceted appearance. The stems connect under the purple glass bowl section with a six-leafed flower or star shape, which can be seen while drinking from them.
Each amethyst wine or cocktail glass is 5 1/4" tall. Top opening is 2 7/8" in diameter. The bases have a 2 1/2" diameter. Holds approx. 4 oz.
No markings on the bottom of these hand blown glasses.
Nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Very light wear commensurate with vintage age - still look great.
