4 Vintage Iced Tea Aurora Amethyst Water Glasses Cambridge w/ Clear Stems - Large Water Goblets - Set of 4 Retro Drinkware
Set of 4 purple or amethyst colored water or iced tea glasses that I believe are Amethyst by Cambridge. These larger sized goblets have a great shape and a nice feel in the hand.
These elegant retro glasses are all a solid purple color glass on the bowls but the stems are clear. The bases are clear glass and attach to the bowls with a 6 leafed flower shape that can be seen while drinking. The short column on the stems has 6 sides giving them a faceted appearance.
Each amethyst iced tea glass is 5 1/2" tall. The top openings have a 3" diameter. The bases have a 2 1/2" diameter. Holds approx. 12 oz.
No markings on the bottom of these hand blown glasses.
Three are in nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. Upon close inspection, one glass has an area of imperfection/wear on the top rim where it appears an air bubble was. This area is about 1/2" in length. Just below that imperfection is another air bubble, which is typical of hand blown glass. Even with the imperfection, still a great set of water goblets or ice tea glasses. The item's prices reflects the condition of the one glass with the imperfection.
