Vintage 14K Gold Filled Heart Locket w/ Genuine Diamond - Petite Pendant Necklace WE RICHARDS Original Box Child Sweetheart Locket Pendant
An adorable 14K gold filled heart locket with a genuine diamond in the center on a fine gold filled chain. This retro locket was never worn and had the original tag from the jeweler on it as well as being in the original box. It was made by the W.E. Richards Co. of North Attleboro, MA. The WE Richards company began in 1900 and is still in business. The hallmark in this necklace - WRE with the R larger than the other letters - has been used since Jan. 1944. This locket is circa 1980s.
The locket features a faceted diamond set inside a starburst shape on the front. The edges of this sweet little locket have a decorative cut all around the heart shape giving it additional bling. The back of the heart has a matte finish.
The locket closes with a snap. Inside it would be able to hold two tiny photos.
The locket has an oval disc on a tag near the clasp. It says 1/20 14K GF WRE . The spring ring clasp is also marked 14K GF.
This sweet heart Locket would be a perfect gift for a young lady - dainty and feminine.
The spring ring clasp opens and closes securely. The fine link 14K gold filled chain measures 16" in length.

In wonderful vintage condition and in its original box from the WE Richards company.
