Mid Century Syroco Wall Clock Large Gold Burst Atomic Design - Working Clock Ca 1960s Retro Wall Decor
A fantastic and large Syroco wall clock that from the mid century. It is made and look labeled as Syroco and is typical of that time with its atomic burst shape. The original Syroco sticker is still intact on the back.
The face is on off-white and gold color. There is no cover on the face. The center of the clock face says Syroco.
The hands are long and have a bit of decorative embellishments. There is a second hand. The clock keeps accurate time. The mechanism has been replaced and the former owner kept the original hands (there was no second hand ordinarily) and had them taped to the back of the clock.
This mid century clock is circa 1960.
The back of the clock has the copyright and Syracuse Ornanental Company's information stamped on it.
Measures approximately 24" in diameter. It is about 3" deep.
As those is quite large, this vintage clock is heavy weighing in at close to 6 pounds before packaging for shipment.
In nice vintage condition with some wear and slight discoloration on some of the gold rays - see photos for detail. The clock mechanism works in one AA battery.
NOTE: The clock mechanism with hands is newer. The former owner did keep the original hands which I will include with this item.
