Three tiered serving piece from the mid century that features purple or amethyst glass pieces. This was the Moroccan Amethyst by Hazel-Atlas that the company made from the 1940s to the 1960s.
The two bottom glass plates have an octagon shape. The top is a cupped shape that also has 8 sides. The metal parts are a pale pale gold color - almost silver. There are two connecting pillars and one top loop. The screw on the bottom keeps the pieces together.
Measures approx. 14" in height including the top looped brass colored metal handle.
Bottom dish is about 10" in diameter. Middle dish is in 7 1/2" diameter and top bowed dish or bowl is about 4 1/2" in diameter.
There is a green felt circle at the very bottom to stabilize it. The piece is slightly wobbly when placed on a flat surface but less so when on a tablecloth.
In nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The top cup level has a 1 1/2” scratch on one of the sides - See last photo. Light wear commensurate with vintage age. Item’s price reflects conditions noted.
This three tiered serving piece screws together. Will ship dismantled but easily screws back together with extenders, handle, plates and bowl.
