A signed Van Hook oil painting in a green, beige and gold trimmed wood frame.
The scene is of a simple rural two-story home with two children and a dog playing ball off to the right in front of a wooden fence. Next to the house is a leafless tree thst reaches upwards. This painting has a bold golden background that warms the scene that illuminates the joys of quiet country life.
The painting is signed to lower left - VAN HOOK. (Possibly the signature of the American artist Charlene Van Hook. I am not an art dealer so this is purely conjecture based on comparisons of the style and the signature for this artist.)
This piece including the frame measures 12" x 10". The painting alone measures 7" x 5".
Thus compact portrait of a simple time would be a wonderful addition to a family room, living room, office or hallway.
The back if the frame has a picture hanging wire so it is ready to be hung and enjoyed.
