Adorable Sterling Silver locket that has two hearts and two bows on the front. The two decorative bows are on the top and bottom corners of this heart while the hearts are in the middle and overlap each other slightly. The front surface with the hearts and bows has a matte finish that is surrounded with a shiny frame. The back and sides of this locket has a shiny finish. Inside this retro sterling silver locket are two photo compartments that still have the frames intact - they look as though they were never used. The back of this locket is marked 925 which means it is Sterling Silver. There is also a letter "T" - most likely a maker's mark. The locket opens and closes with a snap.
The bale that this two compartment photo locket hangs on the chain from has a few decorative vertical ridges.
This circa 1980s locket is hanging from a sterling serpentine chain that is made of tiny "S" chain links. The 18" long chain is very smooth to the touch.
The Sterling Silver serpentine chain is marked 925 on the loop near the clasp. It also says ITALY and has 925 also marked on the spring ring clasp. The clasp opens and closes securely.
In nice vintage condition with light wear as would be expected a vintage item from the 1980s.
Measures just shy of 3/4" across at widest part of the heart. Locket is about 1" long including the bale.
Chain is 18" in length.
