Unique shaped vintage vase that is thin, has a wide top section and softly curves down to a smaller base.
this piece is a features an Indian design with an elephant wearing a decorative blanket. It also has some buildings - what looks like the Taj Mahal. This central design is done in red, green, white, light blue enamel that is on brass. The background of the center design is a gray/green color. The blue enamel framing around the center design has moons and stars throughout. There are three red dots on the top and the bottom of the design on this vase. The same design appears in both front and back. The sides are a solid band of brass. The top opening is a thin rectangular shape.
Whether using it to display a plant or floral arrangement it is sure to elevate the level of beauty in your home decor.
This mid century piece is Solid Brass and has the same design on both sides - one side appears to have more wear than the other.
Measures 5 1/4" high. It is 5" across at its widest part. The top opening is 2 1/4" long x 1/3" wide. The base is 2 3/4" long x 1 1/3" wide.
It is in nice vintage condition with some patina with some wear on the enamel in some places as would be expected a vintage item from the mid century.
