Very large tall Amano Germany vintage red vase in a torpedo shape that is very striking!

This circa 1970s vase is from the Amano series of Scheurich Germany. The designers Heinz Siery and A. Seide created the vases in this series that is a great dark ox blood color with a slightly cocoa colored interior glaze.

The bottom has the Scheurich hallmark symbol on the top and says Amano, Made in Germany and has the model number 649-40.

This tall torpedo vase is approx. 16" tall and has a 3" diameter at the opening. At its widest spot, it is about 5" across.

This oxblood colored vase with a cocoa brown interior is in excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or crazing. Looks great!
