A lovely piece of vintage Victorian costume jewelry. Subtle and beautiful, this faux cameo has a pale pink background with a cameo of a woman on the front. Below her dangles a single and dainty baroque pearl. The cameo is set in an openwork filigree gold tone metal. The ornate setting is typical of the Victorian era on this turn of the century lavaliere. The bale on top of the pendant has a few decorative ridges on it. The pendant itself is unmarked.
This retro lavaliere with the cameo and dangling pearl hangs on a 14K gold filled fine link chain. The chain has a spring ring clasp that opens and closes securely. The chain is marked 1/20 14K on the spring ring clasp.
This Victorian lavaliere is 2'' long by 3/4'' wide including the bale. The fine link chain is approx. 18" in length.
The necklace is in nice vintage condition. Some light wear commensurate with antique age - see photos for detail.
