An antique linen book from the early 1906 called Girls and Boys HURRAH! with colored prints inside. It has a copyright of 1906 by the McLoughlin Bros. of New York on the front. It also says Linen on the cover.
The cover features a color picture of a boy, girl and a bull dog. The children are sitting on a haystack and a pitcher of water is in the lower left of the scene. There are two adult males making hay with pitchforks in the far background. The back has a light green leafy print all over it.
There are a total of 14 pages in the book (this includes pages/stories that are printed on the inside covers) that are between the cover pages.
Inside the book, there are 6 full sized color pages in this antique book for children that have pastoral country / farming scenes depicted on them. The other pages are black and white and include several illustrations to ago along with the collection of short stories inside the book.
This vintage book from the turn of the 20th century measures 10 1/2" x 9".
In fair antique condition with worn pages, peeling spine, torn cover edges and discoloration - see photos for detail. Item's price reflects this condition.
