Cute and kitschy set of two 3D diamond shaped floral design wall plaques from the mid century. The matching pair of flower bouquets are ceramic. At the top of each plaque is a small pink bow on the bouquet of flowers. The bouquets are done in pastel colors including yellow, pink, blue, green and a deep purple. There is a thin gold line or border around the diamond shaped some swirled edging on the outer rim.
Each has a hole made into the top of the ceramic plaque for easy hanging.
They are hallmarked on the back with the Lefton China hallmark, and the numbers KW4374. They also say hand painted. The stamp is for the Lefton company of New York that produced home decor and collectible items in the mid century in Japan. (1950s/1960s).
Perfect vintage wall decor for a hallway, bedroom, bathroom or living room.
Each diamond shaped retro plaque measures approx. 6 /2” long and 5 1/2” wide. The flowers in the plaques are 3 dimensional pieces and as such, the flowers stick out with some depth/dimension.
In nice vintage condition. Upon close inspection there is slight chipping and have been some repairs to some of the flowers - see photo closeups. Item’s price reflects these conditions.
The mid century pair still look adorable on the wall and could be positioned in a variety of ways.
