Antique Shabby Chic Metal Lock Box - Cash Money Storage Made in England - Black, Rust & Gold Painted w/ Brass Handle - Interior Compartments
Great rectangular antique or vintage metal lock box with a lid and a brass handle on the top that says MADE IN ENGLAND inside. The exterior is a dark color with rust and mustard colored striping on the lid and sides. The interior is black. There is a keyhole in the front but there is no key to lock this up. Best guess is that this box is circa early 1900s.
The interior has several compartments when you open it up: the box interior itself has storage area and there is a removable divided section.
This removable section that has three dividers - the whole section lifts out of the storage box completely. The center of this section has a sliding compartment lid. The two compartments on either side of this center storage area open to the side.
Where this vintage or antique box is chipped, there is silver metal underneath.
This antique box is a handsome lock box certainly make a great addition to any decor.
Measures 11 1/2" long x 6 1/2" wide and is 4" high.
In chipped worn shabby chic condition. The hinged lid opens and closes securely and the brass handle is sturdy.
