A nautical pair of carved wood bookends that each feature an eagle with spread wings over a globe that is on an anchor, giving them a nautical and patriotic feel. The wooden designs sit atop a tiered pedestal base with a rounded shape. Have a great shabby chic look to them as well.
They are each quite heavy - I believe they are filled with something making them heavier than they would be if they were solid wood. Very rustic in their design. Would be great for a cottage, beach house or nautical-themed room.
They have green felt n the bottoms and the remains of the original stickers.
Measure approx. 7" high, 5" wide and 3 1/2" deep.
In nice vintage condition with some wear commensurate with vintage age which is mid century.
