Vintage silver plate sugar scuttle with its matching scoop features a flower pattern that appears to be roses in bloom and is embossed on the scuttle. The scoop has a bit of decorative edging on the handle that matches the motif. There is a special holder on the back of the scuttle for the little sugar scoop. This is an Eleana Claire exclusive and still has the original tag on it that identifies it as DELLI SILVERPLATE from San Francisco, California.
This Company, Delli Silverplate was acquired in 1974 by Leonard Silver Mfg. Co., Inc., Boston 02128. The trademark expired in 1998.
This sugar scuttle and scoop are in the original gift box and still have the care instructions and label on the bottom.
Measures about 6” wide and 5 1/2” tall. The opening for the scuttle is 3” across.
There is some light tarnishing from age/storage but it looks wonderful - I did not polish it as the care instructions indicate it is to be cleaned with a damp cloth. In good vintage condition in the original gift box - appears to never have been used.
