Vintage Green Art Glass Jar w/ Lid - Large Hand blown Mid Century Hand Blown Bright Green & Clear Colored Glass Vase - Mod or Modern Design

Stately green vintage art glass jar with a lid. This tall and striking hand blown glass vase draws lots of attention as its color and shape are unique. The jar base is ribbed and sits on a pedestal base. It starts wide at the bottom and tapers in its center section and finally widens out again at the top giving it an hourglass shape. The lid is also ribbed or has soft panels. It has a bubble shape at the base, then a smooth and slightly raised area before getting to the perfectly round knob on the top that is clear glass. The color and shape make this a great home decor piece that will certainly get second looks.

This retro art glass jar has a few bubbles in the glass here and there as it is hand blown. The lid has a cut glass finish on the inside of the rim. As it is hand blown glass and not molded to exact measurements, the rim sits loosely on the jar bottom.

The green color of the vase is throughout - except for the knob on the lid and a section of the pedestal base which are clear glass - see photos.

The measurements of this lidded jar are;

diameter at top opening - 5"
diameter at base - 4 1/2"

In great vintage condition with no cracks or chips. A few small air bubbles that happened during creation typical of hand blown art glass.
