Vintage Kromex 2 Tier Tidbit Stand Serving Tray Mid Century Modern - Signed KROMEX - 2 Tier Stand/Dessert Tray w/ Brass Tone Atomic Handle

$16.20

Sorry, this item has sold.

This is a fabulous vintage 2-tiered Kromex Chrome tidbit cake/dessert pedestal with a brass colored handle. This mid century stand is marked Kromex on the bottom - see photo #5.

Measures approx. 11" tall. Bottom plate is about 8 1/2" in diameter. Top is approx. 6" in diameter.

This item is in nice vintage condition; the plates, tier separators and handle have little finish wear. Some light rusting on bottom center where brass part meets the larger tray.

Great mid century piece!

*NOTE:
Kromex aluminum kitchenware was made by the Alcoa Company in the mid to late 1950s. Alcoa was an industrial firm at the time and in the early 1960s, Reynolds Aluminum purchased the company and stopped production of its domestic product lines. Kromex items were sold at Sears and Montgomery Ward stores as well as a number of other department stores.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
