Vintage or Antique Satin Glass Bowl - Hand Painted White w/ Pink Glass Round Bowl or Low Vase - Flowers, Gold Trim
A beautiful round vintage stain glass bowl with a blush pink color on the top and white frosted glass on the bottom. In three places around the top edge are a cluster of two roses, one yellow and one pink with a spray of small blue and dark pink flowers under them. The bowl is opaque being made of satin glass.
There is a crisscross pattern of gold accent color painted in between the flower clusters and a rim of the gold around the top rim. Both above and under the pink color and encasing the crisscross designs is a curved pattern of the gold strokes.
The base has a very small or slight rim giving it a very short foot on the bottom. The sides are rounded/curved and angle upwards to the wide area on the top where the pink blush and hand painted flowers and gold designs are located.
The bowl measures 7" in diameter and is 2 3/4" in height. The top opening has a 4" diameter. The base has a 2 1/2" diameter.
It is in very nice vintage condition with no chips or cracks. The paint is also in very nice condition and shows little wear. The bowl is unmarked.
This vintage centerpiece bowl is quite heavy weighing in at close to 2 lbs. before packaging for shipment.
Lovely piece to grace your table or anywhere you need a soft blush of color.
