Vintage Cameo Pendant on 14K Gold Filled Chain - Large Oval Retro Cameo Necklace or Pin Brooch w/ Ornate Filigree Edges 14K GF Chain
A large and ornate cameo pendant with decorative scalloped frame on a 18" 14K gold filled chain. This vintage cameo pendant is also a brooch - there are both a pin closure and a bale for a chain. I have it displayed as a pendant on a chain but it can also be a pin.
The cameo, surrounded by two tone gold metal frame of beautiful flowers and swirls, hangs on a 14 karat gold filled chain, which is marked on the clasp. The cameo is not shell - it appears to be resin. The actual oval cameo is slightly raised from the floral swirled frame giving this pendant or pin great dimension.
Clasp opens and closes securely. The pin closure on the brooch also opens and closes securely.
Measurements:
Cameo is 1 1/4" long including the bale and 1 1/8" wide at widest point.
Chain - 18"
The chain is marked 1/20 14K GF.
The cameo is nice vintage or antique condition with age appropriate patina and wear. The chain, which we added, is newer vintage stock and has a nice shine.
