Vintage Redware Teapot - Large Tea pot Hand painted Pottery Shabby Chic Floral - Black Turquoise Tulips - Kitchen Serving Decor Display

$28.80

Sorry, this item has sold.

Vintage redware teapot that is a perfect Shabby Chic piece with it's mid century age, chippy paint on a the black background. The design on the front and the back sides has three turquoise tulips with white trim that are hugged to three green stems on each side of the tulips.

The shape is rather art deco with a great handle that is straight across the top and then curving to the base where it attached. The lid has an open knob.

Teapot is circa 1940s - 1950s.

There are impressed markings on the bottom but I am unable to make them out.

This country cottage retro teapot is in nice vintage condition with no cracks. Some light wear to the paint as would be expected an earthenware item of this age - see photos for detail.

Measures 10" across from tip of handle to end of spout and is about 8" high to the top of the knob on the lid.

Holds 8 cups.

    Frequently Asked Questions

Do we answer questions about the value or “worth” of items?

No, we are not comfortable providing pricing or answering questions about the value or worth of vintage or antique items. We believe they are worth what someone will pay for them. Therefore, there is no way to assign something a set monetary value - in our opinion. We suggest doing an online search to find similar items and take it from there.
